Getting hitched…

It’s been a while since I last blogged, but I’m back and I’ve got wedding images!

Meredith and Adam got married at Benton Chapel on Vanderbilt’s campus. I’ve attended several weddings as a guest there, but never as a photographer.  When Adam and Meredith asked me to photograph their wedding, I was super excited to learn they would exchange their vows at the chapel. It’s such a beautiful place, especially when the sun is shinning through all the stain glass windows. Following the ceremony guests were invited to wander around Vanderbilt’s stunning campus while they made their way to the University Club  for the reception.  The reception was so much fun. Adam and Meredith have some amazing friends who came from all over to share their big day. It was great to be a part of such an energetic and loving group. Below are some images from my day with them – thanks again for allowing me to share in your day guys. I wish you the best!

So what do guys really do while the girls are getting their hair and make up done? They draw the groom on whiteboards… that is if a whiteboard is present.

This is my favorite cake topper so far – Jane Austin meet Harry Potter.

chris scott - yeah, gotta agree with the kissing shot and add my undying affection for the bouquet shot that’s right before it… gor – geous.

Jessica Rayborn - You have to love receptions – the dance moves and the facial expressions are always amazing. His facial expression is very similar to those of mine.

Adrienne - I LOVE the kissing in front of the tree. And of course the required goofy reception shot!
