I traveled back to Nashville last weekend for Kristi and Ryan’s engagement session as well as Gretchen and Heath’s wedding (sneak preview in the making).
My husband Ryan and Kristi used to work together at HCA, so you can imagine my surprise when I received an email from Kristi during the beginning stages of wedding planning, stating that she and Ryan have been thinking a lot about wedding dates and wanted to check my availability for a few. I thought, “ my goodness, my husband sure is lending a hand with her wedding planning. I know that he manages IT Audits, but I didn’t realize he helped manage his co-workers weddings as well.” I sure did jump to conclusions, because if I had been patient I would have seen at the end of her sentence she put in parenthesis (my Ryan).
Even though Kristi’s Ryan is not in fact my Ryan – they both have a few things in common.
- One: they both know Kristi
- Two: they both are very cool guys
- Three: they both do and/or are interested in consulting
- Four: they both own very cool western shirts
- Five: they both enjoy a good bowl of ice cream (p.s, thanks for the Maggie Moo’s)
- Six: and finally, they both know me
With all that being said, I think it’s time to finally introduce Kristi and Ryan. Below are a few images from our engagement shoot at Centennial Park. I was very lucky that afternoon and had my brother Aaron second shoot for me. Enjoy!
