Every summer I make a couple trips to Sunset Beach in North Carolina. It just so happened that on this trip, I mixed in a bit of work with pleasure. Kasi had asked me to photograph her wedding after Ryan and I planned to be in the area. I love beach weddings and am always excited to be a part of one, so of course I didn’t mind taking some time from the vacation to hang out with a very cool couple! Ryan even asked if he could be my pack mule, another opportunity I didn’t let go to waste.
Kasi and Josh got married at Ocean Isle Beach just outside of the Isle Islander Hotel. They had a gorgeous intimate sunset wedding. Right after the ceremony we rushed to do some portraits. I kept laughing because I was trying to give some direction to Kasi and Josh, however it got dark really fast and I couldn’t see 5 feet in front of me. Every time I took a picture I would check the image to make sure they were in the photograph and that they were following orders (hahaha). It all went very smoothly and we had a great time getting sandy together.
