Last Saturday Kat and Stephen said “I do” at Kat’s family’s vineyard in Keswick, VA. The two met when Stephen came to the country and began his career as a winemaker at Keswick Vineyard. From there they developed a beautiful love story that grew with the help of their family and friends. The ceremony was right outside of Kat’s parents home with a gorgeous gazebo backdrop, while the reception was just up the hill over looking the vineyard and the Virginia countryside.
They had the most perfect night for their wedding. There wasn’t a drop of rain all night. Instead, beautiful heat lightning lit the sky red, purple and silver.
I really enjoyed being a part of Kat and Stephen’s wedding. I was able to get to know them and their families better. Through that I witnessed just how strong Kat and Stephen’s bond is with their families and their friends. It wasn’t difficult to feel the love that was being expressed all night! I’ll admit to even shedding a tear behind my lens as I watched Kat dance with her dad. It was the most memorable father daughter dance I’ve ever had the opportunity to capture.
