I had a great time wandering around Cambridge with Amanda and Gus. They wanted some  natural, easy going but fun  photos from their session so that’s just what we did. It literally was a walk in the park. We strolled here and there and I took photos along the way capturing our every move. Some of my favorite photos from the day were taken when we sat in the grass  and Gus started making goofy facial expressions. Amanda lost it. She tried to join in but couldn’t stop laughing. I love it when a couple can laugh together and at each other. It’s endearing.  Just after the laughs there was always this moment of tenderness. It was sweet to watch as they would cuddle in close.

My friendship with Aaron and Ashley goes way back. I first met Aaron through Ryan while I was in college. Ryan had interned on Aaron’s radio show and the two became friends. Aaron was starting up a band and needed a drummer and Ryan was a drummer who needed a band. The band was a big part of Ryan’s life. Which in effect became a big part of mine. I can still remember walking around MTSU late at night promoting shows by hanging flyers with the guys and chalking up sidewalks around campus. Those nights were some of my favorite memories in college. I’m excited to add their wedding day as another one of my favorite memories!

Congratulations to Aaron and Ashely. I look forward to your wedding in September… it’s a good day to get married too – just one day after me and Ryan said “I do, I pinkie swear I do”

Melissa and Craig were wonderful to work with. They were completely at ease. I watched them through my lens as they joked, giggled and cuddled. They didn’t seem phased by anything. They were a complete joy to work with and made the engagement session so much fun! I’m really looking forward to their Georgia wedding this June.
